Givenchy, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel have always been on our lips, but not a fashion force for a long time, until now. Not long ago our favourite labels and names came from Milan. Starlets wore shape-cut Gucci, Fashion sophisticates wore Prada, and party-goers wore Cavalli. How the fashion world has changed.
I must admit, ,my first two days at fashion week were rough, but I am back. Fashion Week is a long process. Each show is like Christmas, as each garment is a present gliding down the runway.

Fashion Week is not only about the tented runway shows, but also fashionistas that flow through Lincoln Centre promenade. However, a chill blanketed Fashion Week, as news, that a golden voice disappeared.

I picked each of these women because they signify a wonderful sprit about fashion. I felt their passion for style, which is displayed by the way they dress. When you live with your heart and move towards your dreams, nothing is impossible.
What I love about fashion week is that people don’t come for trend, but personality, a dress is only a dress until someone breathes life into a garment. That is what style conveys to the world–life.

With the passing of music mega star, Whitney Houston, we know life is short, so it should be lived with passion each day. All of these wonderful women remind me that fashion is a way to express your heart and emotion to the world, like Ms. Houston’s wonderful voice.

For me, the greatest pain is for Bobbi Christina, who must now deal with a loss of a mother. Today, as I was walking away from Lincoln Centre, I witnessed the most angelic moment. I was reminded by this girl how sweet and carefree fashion, and life, can be. I hope that Bobbi Christine will be able to regain a moment of innocence after so much tragedy.
Fashion Week begins, and the Big Apple is all abuzz with excitement of fresh faces, and wonderful new friends. Packed lines are waiting to fill empty show spaces with anticipated guest. The RSVP’s are done, as guest roll in, one-by-one, to fill a fabulous location. Tonight was Designer Victor dE Souza–designer to the stars.

I, and fellow crowd watches gazed with glee at his wonderful creations tonight, most of all his fabulous muse—“Lady in Red.” Chris De Bugh’s soundtrack was in my head all night, as photographers snapped her photo from every angle.
