McQueen–Spring 2012 Runway!!

In my Designer 101 post I tipped my hat to my favorite designer, Alexander McQueen. I must say since his death I have found it hard to watch any McQueen show now that he is gone. However, Sarah Burton is doing an okay job, although little commercial for my taste.

Minus McQueen theatrics, her runway presentation was very ladylike and elegant. Where is the McQueen edge?

I am sure the accountants are happy…

Man knew form clothes, no doubt; not so sure about his grasp on footwear . . .

A good look for him, LOL! It reminds me of one time, when my now 9 year old dd was about 2…I ws at the khecitn sink one cold morning in March and I looked out the window to see my dd outside in nothing but a diaper (she remembered to put on BOOTS, though) tromping through the melting snow in our backyard with our old chocolate lab trailing behind (see my blog today). I almost had a heart attack! She let herself out the front door.

Trust me. The last Trust me. The last movies i went to see were in 2005. They were Downfall , a German movie (as you know), and War of the Worlds .I’ve nceoitd movies are increasingly contrived, dull, overblown and with too much emphasis on CGI at the expense of a believable or entertaining script. They are forever reminding us black people exist to the extent they seem to be lecturing the converted. Political correction breeds racism. If you neglect to include ethnic minorities, you risk the racist! slur.
